Alphonsa under the scanner; beau’s family suspects murder!

Submitted by on March 6, 2012 – 8:52 pmNo Comment |

Actress Alphonsa is recovering at a hospital at Vadapalani, Chennai, after she was admitted in a critical stage, having swallowed an excessive dose of sleeping pills. The condition of the actress is said to be stable now, and she is reportedly under observation.

A strange twist to this real life tale has arrived all on a sudden, since her beau Vinod Kumar’s family had made it clear that they suspect foul play in his death. They have alleged that the young man could have been murdered. His family feels that Alphonsa consumed sleeping pills fearing consequences, and Vinod’s uncle has lodged a complaint with the Virugambakkam police, demanding an investigation.

It has been reported that the couple had a bad fight on Sunday night, following which Vinod Kumar had hanged himself. Alphonsa had attempted suicide herself not much later. The police meanwhile have registered a case under Section 174, and an inquiry is already on.
