AMMA not too pleased with Meera Jasmine’s combeack?
It was reported that Meera Jasmine is planning to stage a huge comeback to Malayalam films, and that the actress had signed up for Babu Janardhanan’s new film that has been titled ‘Samuelinte Makkal’. There were even unconfirmed reports that Meera was so excited about the film, that she had even offered to produce it herself!
However looks like the plans of the actress will have to wait a bit. Looks like the actors’ association AMMA is not too pleased at Meera’s plans to act in Malayalam films. She has been banned earlier by the Association for declining to be a part of the magnum opus film ’20 20′.
It is learned that AMMA’s displeasure has been communicated to the makers of ‘Samuelinte Makkal’. We aren’t sure if Meera would be able to appease the Association, but the film is likely to move ahead only if if she is able to do so. Whatever be the professional issues that the actress has, it would be a shame if she isn’t be able to act any more in Malayalam films.
