Anu Mol, who had made her debut opposite Fahad Fazil in the film ‘Akam’, has signed a biggie now – Babu Janardhanan’s new film ‘God for Sale’, in which she would play the female lead opposite young star Kunchacko Boban! Anu would reportedly play wife to the character played by Kunchacko Boban.

After having completed ‘Akam’, Anu was busy with ‘Ivan Megharoopan’ in which she has been cast along with Prakash Bare. ‘God for Sale’ would however be Anu’s first mainstream commercial film ever, and she is happy to be collaborating with the ‘God for Sale’ team!

Earlier titled ‘Bhakthi Prasthanam’, ‘God for Sale’ is reportedly a satire on the spiritual God men who have transformed spirituality into a booming business. ‘God for Sale’ has been scripted by the director himself. This would be Babu Janardhan’s second film. He had made his directorial debut with the critically acclaimed ‘Bombay March 12′ last year.
