Much was being said about the spectacular cameo that Anushka Shetty would play in the Tamil film ‘Saguni’. Naturally fans of the actress had got all excited, and were waiting with bated breath for the film to release, so that they could catch their favorite star in action along with Karthi.

However, they were in for a huge disappointment, since we hear that Anushka is barely there in the film, and her cameo has turned out to be fiasco of sorts. Her fans do not hide their dejection either. Suresh, a fan of hers from Trivandrum, says that he was mighty shocked that Anushka would agree to do such a blink-and-you-will-miss-it role.

‘Saguni’ , the Tamil political drama film directed by Shankar Dayal features Karthi and Pranitha in the lead roles, while Santhanam, Roja, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Mumtaj and Nassar appear in supporting roles. The film has been released last week, and has opened to mixed reviews.
