Asha Sarath, who is a much familiar face with the television viewers of the state, is all set to make big screen entry with the film ‘Friday’. The spectacular news is that she has signed a film opposite none other than Mohanlal.

Asha would play Mohanlal’s heroine in the film ‘Karma Yodha’ that is being directed by Major Ravi. The actress would play a Mumbai Malayali in the film.

Asha who has been settled in Dubai with her family for the past several years, had made an appearance in a few television serials long back. However it was her portrayal of Professor Jayanthi in the teleserial ‘Kumkumapoovu’ that had won the hearts of all and sundry.
