Asin turns down Linguswamy?
Linguswamy who has been planning to remake his superhit Tamil film ‘Vettai’ in Hindi, and his first choice of a heroine was none other than Asin, who has made it quite big in Bollywood. However, much to the director’s surprise, Asin turned down the offer.
The reason behind Asin being disinterested in the project is that she is not much keen on doing films that have more than one lead actress. And not just that, this remake required her to play the elder sister to another heroine, which Asin was reportedly not much excited about.
Linguswamy is on the look out for another heroine for his Bollywood project. ‘Vettai’ starred R. Madhavan, Arya, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul in the lead roles while Ashutosh Rana, Thambi Ramaiah and Nasser played supporting roles and was a roaring hit at the box office.
