Blessy and Swetha Menon criticized for ‘Kalimannu’

Director Blessy and actress Swetha Menon have been severely criticized for their new venture ‘Kalimannu’, the shooting of which has been recently completed.
It was the legislative assembly speaker G Karthikeyan who stated that it wasn’t right for a woman’s delivery to be captured on camera. He also added that even if the actress agreed, a director of Blessy’s repute should not have shot the film.

It is premature to comment the movie, director and actress before its release. After all we are living in 21st century. Blessy is a renowned director and Swetha is too good as an actress. Keeping her own baby while receiving the award is not a sin , after all 9 months the baby was her body.
