Chitrangada’s look in ‘Joker’ has Madhuri fans pleased!

Chitrangada Singh might not have thought of the kind of adulation that she was to receive, when she decided to do an item number in the upcoming film ‘Joker’. The song that goes ‘Kaafirana’ has been inspired by the Madhuri Dixit look in the film ‘Sailaab’.

‘Sailaab’ had one of the top hit numbers in Madhuri’s career and the song that went ‘Humko Aaj Kal Hain..Intezaar…’ ruled the hit charts for a very, very long time. Its still remembered as one of Madhuri’s best dance performances as well. Chitrangada says that her look in ‘Joker’ is downright rustic and ” is a little bit of Madhuri”.

Fans of Madhuri Dixit are however pleased. Says Reshma, who has remained an ardent Madhuri fan for as long as she can remember, “I wonder if someone would ever step into Madhuri’s shoes. However, though it looks impossible, Chitrangada seems to have done a neat job of adopting the Madhuri look.”
