Deepika Padukone might have turned out to be one of the busiest actresses in Bollywood right now, but she is not one who would forget those who had helped her walk up the steps to success. Like Karan Johar, famous Bollywood producer – director, for instance.

Deepika says that Karan was extremely warm towards her even when he met her for the first time, while she was just a new comer in the industry. She has also made clear that she would definitely attend K Jo’s birthday bash on the 25th of May, and that he is one of the persons she is extremely fond of.

Deepika would soon be a part of ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’, which is Karan Johar’s production house Dharma Production. She would be seen with Ranbir Kapoor in it, and the film would be directed by Ayan Mukherji.
