Deepika Padukone replaces Kareena Kapoor

Submitted by on May 27, 2012 – 10:01 pmNo Comment | 178 views

Deepika Padukone has replaced Kareena Kapoor in the new film that Karan Johar would be producing along with Ekta Kapoor. The film would have Deepika Padukone opposite Emraan Hashmi who has been silently churning out one hit after the other.

Kareena had reportedly cited date problems and could not be a part of the project. We wonder how perfect a pair Deepika and Emraan would make, but its very likely that this film would turn out to be one of the most discussed projects in the coming year.

Deepika meanwhile is quite busy South as well, as she has started shooting for ‘Kochadaiyaan’ opposite none other than Superstar Rajinikanth. What’s more she would also be seen along with Shahrukh Khan in ‘Chennai Express’ and with Ranbir Kapoor in ‘Yeh Jawani Hain Diwani’.
