Department of Health miffed with a smoking Mythili

The Department of Health is miffed with the posters of the film ‘Matinee’ that depicts a smoking Mythili, and has reportedly registered a court case against the actress.

Probably for the first time ever, the Department has registered a case against the actress portrayed on the poster, the director and the producer of the film.

It had recently become mandatory for every film to display a statutory warning while showing actors smoking or having alcohol, and posters showing the lead actors smoking/consuming alcohol have also been brought under the scanner.
