From playing Lal’s lover to mother, Swetha Menon throws a surprise!

Swetha Menon’s romance with Lal in the Aasihq Abu film ‘Salt ‘n Pepper’ isn’t something that we would be able to forget in a hurry. They made an adorable pair in the film, and their falling in love with each other, was so beautifully depicted by the film maker, that it turned out to be one of the most endearing romances that we had seen last year!

That hasn’t really stopped Swetha Menon from playing Lal’s mother in the new film ‘Ozhimuri’ which has been directed by Madhupal. Swetha has always been an actress who has refused to be tied down to a particular image, and hence her decision to play Lal’s mother is definitely praiseworthy.

This year, we would also get to see her in R Sharath’s ‘Parudeesa’ in which she would play a cook. Swetha has been getting better with every role of hers, and has been seen in such critically acclaimed films as ‘T D Dasan’ and ‘Paleri Manickyam’ in the last few years.
