Has Deepika Padukone been cast opposite Vikram in Shankar’s next?
Deepika Padukone may have bagged the Golden Kela Award for being the Worst Actress of 2011, but career wise she’s on a role. Heading South, she has bagged the biggest and most talked about project of all south Indian films of the year – ‘Kochadaiyaan’ opposite Rajinikanth!
And not just that, news reports have poured in suggesting that Deepika might very well be cast opposite Vikram in super whiz director Shankar’s next film. Shankar has been known to make larger than life scale films like ‘Robot’, ‘Anniyan’ and ‘Nanban’.
If these reports are indeed true, this could be Deepika’s most high profile project till date, and could propel her right into the top league. We haven’t received confirmations on the project as yet, from either the director or the actress, but looks like the Padukone girl is having a ball, the Golden Kela not withstanding.
