Kaniha, who has just had a Vishu release, ‘Cobra’ feels glad at being accepted by the Kerala audience. She feels that Keralites are very mature and sensible individuals, and that acceptance from such an audience is indeed a wonderful thing.Of all the industries that she has worked in, Kaniha admits that she is most fond of the Malayalam film industry.

Kaniha added that up till now, 2012 has been a wonderful year for her. She is working with the right directors, who have offered her amazing roles. In ‘Cobra’ she has been paired with Lal, and would also be soon seen in Ranjith’s new film ‘Spirit’ in which Mohanlal plays the lead role.

Kaniha had made her debut in Malayalam way back with the film ‘Ennittum’. She had later acted in films like ‘Bhagyadevatha’, ‘My Big Father’ and ‘Drona 2010′, but it was her role as Makkom in the Hariharan directed ‘Pazhassi Raj’ that the Kerala audience would remember forever.
