I prefer to have a girl-next-door image: Meera Nandan

Submitted by on May 29, 2012 – 5:07 pmNo Comment | 202 views

Meera Nandan, who was last seen in the film ‘Mallu Singh’ along with Unni Mukundan, says that she prefers to maintain a girl-next-door image. The actress has clarified that she is neither willing to expose for the sake of it, nor appear in embarrassing scenes.

Meera had made her debut in Malayalam films through the film ‘Mulla’ in which she was cast opposite Dileep. The film did not do well at the box office, but Meera was flooded with offers in Malayalam and Tamil. She has also done a couple of films in Telugu.

Meera says that though there is no dearth of offers, she has been waiting for the right offer to come her way. She has done enough and more small projects already, and would like to do roles that offer her fresh challenges as an actress. She says there has been no  end to the gossips as well, and adds that its all part of being a celebrity.
