I won’t be acting any more: Unni Mary

Submitted by on March 15, 2012 – 10:10 pmNo Comment |

There was a time when Unni Mary was one of the leading heroines in Malayalam and Tamil films, and the much-in-demand actress would flee from one shooting location to the next, trying to keep up with a busy schedule. After her marriage, nothing much was heard of the actress, except that she had turned into a devout believer.

It was recently reported that Unni Mary had revealed to media persons in Chennai that she had no plans of acting ever again. She said that family was her prime priority and that she was very happy staying with her husband, children and grandchildren in Cochin.

She also said that she was much proud that she was an actress. Her son is interested in acting in films, and Unni Mary hopes that he would find the right opportunity pretty soon. She says she spends her day in prayers and doing social work, and that she is still in touch with several other actresses who were her contemporaries.
