I’d love to do a Malayalam film like ‘Beautiful’: Parvathy Omanakkuttan
Former Ms. World Parvathy Omanakkuttan, who will soon be having her first Tamil release in ‘Billa 2′ is hopeful of setting up a career in South Indian films. She revealed recently that she has a special liking for films in Malayalam, that also happens to be her mother tongue.
Parvathy was interacting with a leading women’s magazine, when she revealed that Malayali film makers have a misconception that being the former Ms. World, she wouldn’t be interested in doing Malayalam films, which is totally wrong. She adds that she has plans to change those notions about her.
She says that there are very few languages in which such beautiful films are made, as in Malayalam. She had recently seen films like ‘Beautiful’, ‘Salt ‘n Pepper’ and ‘Vellaripravinte Changathy’, which have tremendously impressed her. She also made an appeal to film makers to come up with an offer as these, and said that she would gladly do such films!
