Submitted by on March 15, 2012 – 10:50 pmNo Comment |

She might not have been seen in many films, but young actress Karthika was recently in the news for reportedly appearing for the shooting of her new film with a bodyguard in tow. The film in question was the Tamil film ‘Annakkodiyum Kodiveeranum’.

Its learned that the bodyguard has been specially appointed by the makers of the film, and that the actress would be under his protection till the film is complete. The reasons behind all this hullabaloo might be unknown, but it has got the actress some media coverage for sure.

Karthika is former actress Radha’s daughter who had made her debut in films through the Telugu film ‘Josh’. She had later acted as Santhosh Sivan’s heroine in the Lenin Rajendran film ‘Makaramanju’, and was also seen as Jeeva’s pair in the Tamil film ‘Ko’. She has some very promising projects in her kitty at the moment.
