Meghna to be Mohanlal’s heroine

Submitted by on March 16, 2012 – 5:32 pmNo Comment |

Meghna Raj, the actress who started off with Vinayan’s ‘Yakshiyum Njanum’, has overcome many a hurdle to reach where she has reached today. It should be remembered that there was even a short-lived decision to ban the actress, but she has emerged a winner at the end of it all.

‘Beautiful’ that was directed by V K Prakash was the film that changed Meghna’s fortunes for the good. Though she was seen in insignificant roles in films like ‘Pachuvum Kovalanum’ and ‘Achante Aanmakkal’, the role that she essayed in ‘Beautiful’ was much appreciated by the critics and viewers alike.

She was seen with Mammootty too in ‘August 15′, and now news has streamed in that Meghna would pair with Mohanlal in the film ‘Mad Dad’. ‘Mad Dad’ would be directed by a woman director Revathi Verma, who had earlier directed a Tamil film called ‘June 6′. Here is wishing the lovely actress the very best!
