Reports say that actress Padmapriya might be asked to keep her manager away if a ban is not to be slapped on her career in Malayalam films. Its learned that the Producers’ Association has taken director M A Nishad’s complaint very seriously and would be contemplating on what needs to be done in the next meeting.

The Association Secretary Sasi Ayyanchira has reportedly clarified that Padmapriya has made it clear that her manager was not paid two lakh rupees, as has been alleged.

Nishad had reportedly alleged that Padmapriya had agreed to act in his film ‘No.66 Madhura Bus’, for a remuneration of eight lakhs, but had later raised it to ten lakhs after her manager had walked into the picture. He also says that he had paid 9.30 lakhs during the shoot, and that the actress had refused to shoot until he paid the entire amount. She had also allegedly refused to be a part of the promotional campaign of the film.
