Poonam who entered the showbiz scene as one of the Kingfisher Calendar girls for year 2011. She later made her debut on television as a contestant in Fear Factor – Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 4 and has been in the news for a variety of reasons, the most controversial one being her proclamation to do a strip act in support of Team India during the Cricket World cup.

Poonam has been quite popular on micro blogging websites like Twitter, where she posted sizzling pictures of herself, at the same time issuing a warning that those below 18 should rather not take a look at her pic. She has found opposition from some celebrities as Tasleema Nasreen and Chitrangada Singh, but has been generally indifferent to such talk.
