Priyamani brushes aside rumours of problems with Mammootty
Actress Priyamani who has just finished shooting for Mohanlal’s ‘Grandmaster’ has brushed aside rumours that Mammootty has problems with her. Priya was reacting to reports that she was chucked out of Johny Antony’s ‘Thaappaana’ on Mammootty’s insistence.
The actress revealed to a national daily that she wasn’t even offered the role, and that there was absolutely no reason why Mammootty should have any issues with her. She also affirmed that they were as good friends as ever. Priya was seen with Mammootty in the Ranjith film ‘Pranchiyettan and the Saint’.
‘Thaappaana’ has Charmi doing the lead role opposite Mammootty, and the film is being scripted by Sindhuraj. It also has Murali Gopy doing a key role in it. With Priya clearing the air, viewers could look forward to the announcement of some project soon in the future that would feature her along with Mammootty. All is well!
