Richa Gangopadhyay not to do ‘The Dirty Picture’

Submitted by on May 7, 2012 – 5:19 pmNo Comment |

There have been reports that actress Richa Gangopadhyay was being considered to do the lead role in the Tamil and Telugu versions of ‘The Dirty Picture’. However looks like Richa Gangopadhyay herself has no clue about such an  offer!

The actress recently revealed that she has not been approached by anyone with an offer as this, and also stated that even if someone did, she has not intention to accept it. In fact, its pretty much clear that Richa is not much interested in doing the role that fetched Vidya Balan the National Award.

Remakes of the Hindi film that was directed by Milan Luthria are being planned in several languages, and Rakhi Sawant would be playing the role in the Bengali version. It was also reported that Veena Malik would do the Telugu version, but none of these have been confirmed.
