Rumours of Manju Warrier returning to films surface again
It was just a few weeks back that Manju Warrier had revealed to a leading women’s magazine in Malayalam that her decision to stay away from films has been purposeful. She had also added that she was almost scared of losing the venerable position that she held in the audience’s minds, if her comeback turns out to be a debacle.
Readers could clearly sense that films were far away from the much loved actress’s mind. However, rumours regarding her return to films have surfaced again. There have been reports that the Bollywood hit ‘Kahaani’ would soon be remade in Malayalam and that Manju Warrier would do the role that Vidya Balan had essayed in the original film.
These unconfirmed reports also suggest that it is Dileep, actor and Manju’s husband who is interested in buying the remake rights of the film. Only time will tell if these remain just rumours, like they have remained many a time.
