Samantha Ruth Prabhu allots bulk dates to Shankar!

Submitted by on June 21, 2012 – 7:34 pmNo Comment |

Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who opted out of a Mani Ratnam film citing date hassles, has allotted bulk dates for a Shankar film. Samantha, we are told, would be required to shoot for the film for several months at a stretch, which would make it impossible for her to do any other film in the mean time.

Shankar’s film that has been titled ‘Therthal’ would be a political thriller, and the shooting is expected to commence on the 15th of July. Shankar would start filming with a song shoot, as is the usual case. It’s learned that Vikram, Samantha and thousands of junior artistes would take part in the shoot.

Samantha, was signed on to play the lead role in Mani Ratnam’s film ‘Kadal’, but the actress had later decided not to be a part of the project. ‘Therthal’ marks the coming together of Vikram and Shankar after the superhit film ‘Annyan’.
