02 copy Shriya Saran takes objection to Pokkiri Raja speaking TamilShriya Saran is not at all amused at her Malayalam film ‘Pokkiri Raja’ speaking Tamil. The actress has taken objection to the film being dubbed and released in Tamil, as she feels that its in violation of the agreement that she had with the producers of the film.

Its learned that Shriya has already approached Nadigar Sangham with a complaint against the producer of the film Tomichan Mulakudpadam. She has also demanded that the release of the film be stalled, since the film would be dubbed per se, without any changes whatsoever. The Tamil version that has been titled ‘Raja Pokkiri Raja’ was expected to be released in March 2012.

‘Pokkiri Raja’ was Shriya’s first Malayalam film, in which she was paired with Prithviraj. The film that was directed by Vaishakh, and which starred Mammootty in the lead role, was a roaring success at the box office. Shriya had also acted with Mohanlal later in ‘Casanova’.
