Swetha Menon and Blessy together for ‘Abhimanyu Ketta Katha’
A few days back we had reported that Blessy had plans to shoot a pregnant Swetha Menon, until her delivery. This would be in association with a film that the two had planned together, and this film we hear has been titled ‘Abhimanyu Ketta Katha’.
The film would focus on the conversations between an unborn child and his mother, and has its roots in the Puranas. There is a story in the Mahabharatha that Abhimanyu who was inside Subhadra’s womb had listened to his father Arjun tell his mother about the Chakravyuha. However, Subhadhra fell asleep before the story was over, and hence Abhimanyu could not escape from the Chakravyuha later.
A similar venture has in fact been attempted by renowned director Márta Mészáros in her film nine months that chronicles the journey of a mother and child together during the period of pregnancy.
