Taapsee Pannu finally enters Bollywood!

Submitted by on June 20, 2012 – 11:22 pmNo Comment |

Several of us might have been wondering why Tapasee Pannu, the charming young actress seen in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films has not yet been seen in a Bollywood film! Tapasee does look like perfect Bollywood material as well, which made the delay in her Bollywood entry a matter of huge surprise!

Tapasee would finally be making her debut in Bollywood through the film ‘Chashme Buddoor’, which is a remake of the 1981 film by the same name. And what’s more? Tapasee would be essaying the role that legendary actress Deepti Naval played in the original film. Sounds like a huge responsibility indeed!

The remake of ‘Chashme Buddoor’ is being directed by David Dhawan and would star Ali Zafar and Siddharth in the lead roles. Sai Paranjpye’s 1981 cult comedy has set a benchmark, which the fresh team hopes to reach up to.
