Urvasi serves a legal notice to Manoj K Jayan

Submitted by on July 8, 2012 – 11:01 pmNo Comment | 118 views

Manoj K Jayan has been served a legal notice by ex-wife Urvasi, for not abiding to the High Court order that their daughter Kunjatta be allowed to be in her custody. She has also taken offence to the actor revealing to the media that she was an alcoholic, and has demanded that he withdraw the statement and apologize unconditionally within a week.

The legal tussle between Manoj K Jayan and Urvasi for the custody of their only daughter had been going on for a while now, and it had recently turned ugly when Manoj K Jayan had revealed the other day to the media, that Urvasi was in a drunken state and that it was impossible for him to let their daughter Kunjatta be with her in such a condition.

The dramatic events took place at the Family Court premises, where Urvasi had arrived to be with Kunjatta for a day. Urvasi was allowed to spend a day with her daughter the next day at the court, but had handed over Kunjatta back after spending two hours with her. The court will consider the custody case this Tuesday.
