Vineeth Sreenivasan defends his heroine!

Submitted by on June 27, 2012 – 4:46 pmNo Comment |

Ever since the trailer and songs of ‘Thattathin Marayathu’ had been released, there has been a huge discussion as to whether Vineeth has done a miscasting of sorts by choosing Isha Talwar in the role of a Malabar Muslim girl. Cynics believe that Isha doesn’t look like a Malayali Muslim girl at all.

With criticism pouring in from several corners, the director himself has come to the rescue of his heroine, and has come up in defence of her. Vineeth says that Isha looks every bit a Malayali Muslim girl, and adds that girls like Isha are quite common in the Thalassery region of the state.

Vineeth even says that there was a girl in his school who used to be his junior, and who used to look like Kareena Kapoor. ‘Thattathin Marayathu’ would be released next week.
