Agent Vinod would be out on his mission on Mar.23

Sriram Raghavan’s spy thriller ‘Agent Vinod’ would grace the screens on the 23rd of March, 2012. The film that stars Saif Ali Khan in the title role, will have Kareena Kapoor playing the female lead. The film was originally set to release in December 2011, but was postponed to March 2012.

The film has nothing to do with the 1977 action film that goes by the same name. The director in fact suggests that his new film would be a thriller and also that it would be downright realistic. We don’t see any reason to disbelieve him, having seen his ‘Johnny Gaddar’.

The musical score of the film has been composed by Pritam Chakraborty. Cinematography is by C K Muraleedharan. The film that has been jointly produced by Saif Ali Khan and Dinesh Viajn, would be distributed by Illuminati Films and Eros Entertainment.
