Court orders ‘Hate Story’ bareback posters to be painted blue!

Submitted by on April 19, 2012 – 9:24 amNo Comment |

The Calcutta High Court has ordered the posters of ‘Hate Story’ which feature its leading actress Paoli Dam showing off her bareback be painted in blue. The Censor Board had earlier banned two posters of the film, having found them obscene and provocative.

Kushagra Arts, the regional distributors of the film and the film theater owners have not busy splashing blue ink all over Paoli’s bare back. The director of the film Vivek Agnihotri however seems unfazed, and added that all this would only add more publicity for his film.

The film which stars Nikhil Dwivedi and Gulshan Devaiah along with Paoli Dam has been in the news for the posters ever since they first appeared online, and also for the dynamite trailer that was released a few weeks after the posters. The film would grace the screens this Friday.
