Submitted by on February 14, 2012 – 7:28 amNo Comment |

Ek Tha tiger that is being produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Kabir Khan and that stars Salman Khan in the title role is a romantic thriller. Katrina Kaif would play the female lead. The film was originally scheduled to release on 1 June, 2012. However the film was shifted to August 2012 to avoid a clash with the Aamir Khan starrer ‘Talaash’ that has been scheduled for a release on June.1.

This film would be the first time be Salman Khan collaborates with Yashraj Films. It should be remembered that his  father Salim Khan had written the scripts of Trishul and Kaala Patthar earlier for the banner. Director Kabir Khan on the other hand, teams up with Katrina Kaif and Aseem Mishra yet again after ‘New York’.

It was initially announced that Pritam would compose the musical score of the film. However, he opted out of the film later due to date clashes with two Yash Raj projects Ek Tha Tiger and Dhoom 3. Instead, Sohail Sen whose work in the recently-released film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, was roped in to compose for the film.

The film has been shot on locations at Ireland, Turkey, Cuba, Iraq and India. The shoot of the film commenced on August 2011, and the film would grace the screens by Eid, this year.
