London Paris New York Poster 300x240 London Paris New York (2012) Review AggregatorLondon, Paris, New York also known by the abbreviated form LPNY, is a Bollywood romantic film that marks the writing and directing debut of Anu Menon and stars Ali Zafar and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead roles. The film that has been released today has generated average to negative reviews.

Rediff says its plain average: “The director wants us to believe we change at every stage of our lives, both in terms of appearance and our wants. An interesting theme which fails to take off. A sense of boredom sets in and the film drags. The clichéd climax doesn’t bring any sense of relief either.”

Koimoi feels that the chances of the film at the box office are bleak: “Anu Menon’s direction is good for a debutante but, like her script, the film has very restricted appeal. On the whole, London Paris New York may be a medium-budget film but its appeal is so limited that recovering even the limited investment would be an impossible task.”

Daily Bhaskar gives the film a thumbs down as well: “For all Ali Zafar and Aditi Rao Hydari’s fans, who can endure anything to watch them on silver screen for almost two hours can grab a ticket. Lack of story telling takes away the chance from the movie to enter the area of popcorn films. “
