Will Shahrukh agree to do ‘Baazigar 2′?

Will You Marry Me? is a Hindi romantic comedy starring Shreyas Talpade, Rajeev Khandelwal, Mugdha Godse and Muzamil Ibrahim in lead roles, which is about a beach wedding. The film that was released today has been given a total thumbs down by the critics.

DNA India finds the film to be a pain: “Abrupt cuts and off-sync sound in many parts add to the woes of Will You Marry Me? If only the director hadn’t tried so hard to make Rajveer look so bad, the film could have wound up crisper and happy. Since you don’t see Rajeev Khandelwal much on the screen, his fans may be in for a surprise. And the others who’re not, you wouldn’t be missing much of you skipped Will You Marry Me?”

Rediff says that it fails to impress: “The redeeming feature about Will You Marry Me is the complete lack of pretensions. Vulgarity, crass humour (including a scene with a bare-chested Muzammil sporting a black-and-white candy striped bra) comprise the ethos of the film. While most of us may dismiss the film outright, there are always a few takers for these so-called ‘ingenuous’ sex comedies.”

Koimoi suggests that the film is a disaster: “On the whole, Will You Marry Me? is a dull fare with very little to entertain. Given the poor start on the one hand and lack of merits on the other, it will meet with unfavourable results at the box-office.”
