Bollywood Box Office: Gangs of Wasseypur 2 opens slow; expected to pick up!
The opening day of the Anurag Kashyap film ‘Gangs of Wasseypur 2′ saw the film collecting a modest 3 crores INR, but it is being hoped that the film would soon pick up by the weekend. The film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Huma Qureshi in the lead roles.
The critics reviews as well as the word of mouth regarding the film are excellent, and the film is therefore expected to do very well at the box office. It also remains that there are few other films that might give the film, which is a sequel to Kashyap’s earlier film ‘Gangs of Wasseypur 1′, any competition.
Meanwhile, Sunny Leone’s Bollywood debut ‘Jism 2′ has been having a not so smooth ride at the box office, and the collections have dropped. Whether the film turns out to be a winning proposition for the makers will be seen in the coming week. It should be remembered that Salman Khan’s much anticipated film ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ would be releasing the coming week.
