Anurag Kashyap says ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ is not for kids!

Director Anurag Kashyap, who has wowed the audience at Cannes with his latest film ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ is all set to send across his film for censoring. He feels that his film is one that is meant for adults and is not concerned about the film gaining an ‘A’ certificate either. Anurag says that his is a film that is certainly not for kids.

Reviews of the film from the Cannes fest have been quite good, and the international press has gone ga-ga over what they got to see. The film has a running time of three hundred and eighteen minutes and has been divided into two parts – ‘Gangs 1′ and ‘Gangs 2”. The audience at Cannes has been reported to have been mighty pleased with the film as well.

‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ features an ensemble cast including Manoj Bajpai, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Richa Chadda in the lead roles.The film is scheduled for a release in India on the 22nd of June.
