Bombay Ravi suggested I compose the music of ‘Ezhamathe Varavu’: Hariharan
Director Hariharan, who is about to start the shooting of his new film ‘Ezhamathe Varavu’ with Indrajith and Narein the lead roles is all excited, because for the first time in his career, he would be composing the musical score for a film. The director says that he had decided that the film’s music would be composed by his favorite music director Bombay Ravi.
However, the musician could not take up the project owing to ill health. A few days before he passed away, when Hariharan had rung him up, Ravi Bombay asked the director why he himself couldn’t consider composing the music for the film. That was his inspiration, revealed Hariharan to a Malayalam film magazine.
‘Ezhamathe Varavu’ has four songs, the lyrics of which have been written by the director and Mankombu Gopalakrishnan. Chitra and Madhu Balakrishnan are the singers.’ Ezhamathe Varavu’ is being scripted by M T Vasudevan Nair, and would be produced by Hariharan under the banner of Gayatri Enterprises.
