Director Hariharan says that his new film ‘Ezhamathe Varavu’ is an emotional drama, for which the forest would serve as a backdrop. The human mind is a forest where all kinds of animals roam around. There would be an attempt to bring man and nature together through this film.

Indrajith and Narein play the male leads in the film. Padmapriya is the heroine. Suresh Krishna, Mamukkoya, Kavitha Nair, Kanchana and K T C Abdullah would lend support. There would also be many fresher actors in the cast, and the director says that the hunt for actors and not stars to take up appropriate roles has ended up quite fruitfully.

The Hariharan film that is being scripted by M T Vasudevan Nair and would be produced under the banner of Gayatri Cinema Enterprises, Hariharan’s own production house. Gayatri Cinema Enterprises was the banner that gave us such lovely films as ‘Sargam’ and ‘Nakhakshathangal’.
