There have been news reports recently that director Shafi has plans to make ‘Helo Mayavi’ with Mammootty and Mohanlal playing the respetive roles that they had essayed in the heir hit films ‘Helo’ and ‘Mayavi’. Accordingly, Mohanlal was expected to play Adovcate Sivaraman and Mammootty was expected to play Mahi.

Director Shafi has however clarified that there are no plans to make ‘Helo Mayavi’ at the moment. He has also revealed that there were indeed plans to create a project as that, but as of now, those plans have been abandoned. He added that he couldn’t say if the film would become a reality some time in the future.

Fans of both the actors were very pleased at the news, and were looking forward to seeing them together in action again. But it looks like the wait will have to go on for a while now. The last time Mammootty and Mohanlal had shared screen space together was for the multi starrer ‘Twenty Twenty’ that was directed by Joshi.
