Director Rajesh Pillai who had given us the memorable film ‘Traffic’ last year will not be seen at the helm of affairs as its Tamil version gets made. News reports claim that the director has walked out of the Tamil version of ‘Traffic’, that would now have to go ahead with another director.

Rajesh had agreed to do the Tamil version, provided the project started immediately. However, when it looked like the project was taking a while to commence, Rajesh had no other option but to move on. He would however be directing the Hindi version.

Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Nasar, Prasanna, Radhika and Remya Nambeesan would appear in the Tamil version of the film. It would be produced by Listin Stephen and Radhika Sarath Kumar. The film was a trend setter in Malayalam films, and was a sleeper hit.
