Suresh Unnithan to return to direction with ‘Nagabandham’

Suresh Unnithan Suresh Unnithan to return to direction with NagabandhamDirector Suresh Unnithan, who had last directed ‘Rishyasringan’ in 1997, is back after a long hiatus to direct his new film that has been titled ‘Nagabandham’. The film would be scripted by Dr. K Ampady and would be caught on camera by Vinod Veerakumar, who had worked as the operative cameraman in films like ’3 Idiots’ and ‘Agent Vinod’.

Lal would lead the cast, and would be supported by actors as Lena, Leksmi Sharma, KPAC Lalitha, Innocent and Sukumari. The heroine is yet to be finalised. The musical score of the film will be composed by Mohan Sitara.

Suresh Unnithan, who had started off his film career with the much critically acclaimed film ‘Jaathakam’ in 1989, had also won the State Award that year for the Best Debutante Director. He had later gone on to direct several notable films like ‘Mukhachitram’, ‘Ulsavamelam’ and ‘Thovalapookkal’, just to mention a few.
