Submitted by on August 1, 2012 – 8:32 pmNo Comment | 55 views

Director P Balachandran, whose film ‘Ivan Megharoopan’ had opened to rave reviews last week, has revealed that it was V K Prakash who had prompted him to script the film.

Balachandran revealed that Prakash had repeatedly asked him to pen a script based on the life of the poet P Kunhiraman Nair. However, when the script was ready, Balachandran had expressed a desire to direct the film himself, and V K Prakash had fully obliged with great happiness.

Prakash however used to visit the film’s sets quite often, remembers Balachandran. And not just that he was more than willing to shoot the promotional song for the film with Remya Nambeesan, that went on to become a rage as well.
