Submitted by on June 20, 2012 – 10:37 pmNo Comment | 166 views

V K Prakash’s next film after ‘Trivandrum Lodge’ has been titled ‘Poppins’ and in case you are wondering why the film has such a strange name, its because the film offers just what the popular candy offers – an assortment of sweet colored candies of different flavors and colors.

The film is based on five plays that have been penned by Jayaprakash Kuloor, each of which would take a close look at marriage. ‘Poppins’ is in fact, the Malayalam remake of his own Kannada film that was titled ’5 Ondu Aidu’. Shoot of the film is expected to start shortly.

Prakash has rallied a huge star cast for his new film that would have five lead actors and five lead actresses. Jayasurya, Indrajith, Kunchacko Boban, Shankar Ramakrishnan and Anoop Menon would be paired with Meghna Raj, Padmapriya, Nithya Menen, Aparna Nair and Ann Augutine.
