Director Kamal, who has recently announced his plans to make a film on J C Daniel and his leading lady Rosie, is yet to find an actress who could essay the role of the first actress ever in the history of Malayalam films. Kamal is on the look out for a fresh face who could do the role, and invites actor aspirants to rush in the resumes with photographs to the email id directorkamal@gmail.com.

The film will have Prithviraj playing the lead role of the film maker J C Daniel, while Samvrutha Sunil would be seen in a very important role as well. Through the film, the director would attempt to find out more about the lives of the film maker and his heroine, both of whom were ostracized for making the first film ever in Malayalam.

Sreenivasan would play the role of Chelangattu Gopalakrishnan, who embarks on a journey to throw light on the man called J C Daniel. The shoot of the film is expected to start in August 2012. Currently the hunt for locations is on, and in the meanwhile the director also hopes to zero in on an actress who could play Rosie.
