Mirror Mirror, the comedy fantasy film based on ‘’Snow White’’ by the Brothers Grimm has been released. It has been directed by Tarsem Singh and stars Lily Collins, Julia Roberts, Armie Hammer, Nathan Lane, and Sean Bean. Here is what the critics in the subcontinent had to say about the film:

Rediff terms it a visual treat: “I was truly charmed by the utterly delightful and fresh take on the classic fairy tale — Snow White. With this film Tarsem will definitely broaden his fan base from hip adults, to young children, parents who accompany them to the screenings and just about anybody else who is drawn to the magic of cinema.”

Mad About Movies agrees it makes a good watch as well: “Mirror Mirror eventually may have those cracks which prevents it from being perfect, but ultimately is a harmless live screen adaptation.  It works well for its target audiences and given its short running time, will have them hooked. “
