Prometheus (2012) English Movie Review Aggregator

Prometheus is a  science fiction film directed by Ridley Scott and written by Jon Spaihts and Damon Lindelof. The film that stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green and Charlize Theron has been released today. Reviews from the Indian subcontinent sound quite good! Well, almost!

DNA India calls it the triumph of style over substance: “While Prometheus is entertaining enough, for all its promise and lofty themes, the film proves to be a triumph of style over substance with a story as perforated as the floor of an acid-bleeding Xenomorph’s lair.”

The Times of India seems tremendously impressed: “Prometheus is an intellectual scientific adventure of epic grandeur. In fact, make sure you indulge in a more-than-one-time-viewing of the movie to get the idea bang on.

Mid Day however is caught somewhere mid way: “In space no one can hear you scream, but in a movie hall everyone can hear you sigh in disappointment. That is a real shame because Ridley Scott’s big return to science fiction has as tame a climax as it has an incredible build-up.”
