The Avengers, the American superhero film produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name has been released in India. Critics have gone gaga over the film, and seem to be begging for more. Take a look!

Rediff gives it a whopping 5 Stars!!! “The Avengers — from ambition to scale to the way it justly balances each remarkable character — is an absolute blast, and it’s far easier to lose yourself than to find fault. It’s the most spectacular superhero party of all time. And you’re invited. Go smash. “

The Times of India is all in agreement: “The Avengers is not just your typical good versus evil kind of super hero flick. Here, before all scores are settled, it’s the good-versus-good hungama that keeps you glued to your seat. Blame it on the big egos of the superstars.”

DNA India thinks its awesome: “A better film by miles than those that set the stage for it, Avengers — with its sharp writing — is the extravaganza Transformers wishes it was. Unprecedented in its crossover nature, there isn’t really much to moan about (we don’t know much about Hawkeye and Black Widow? Well, they are shadowy agents anyway) .
