Three Weeks to Go for the 84th Academy Awards

The 84th Academy Awards ceremony that will take place on February 26, 2012, is just three weeks away. The event will take place at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, and will be hosted by Billy Crystal. The award nominations were announced by AMPAS on January 24, 2012.

The nominees for the 84th Annual Academy Awards were announced on January 24, 2012, at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater by Tom Sherak, AMPAS president, and Oscar-nominated actress Jennifer Lawrence. The winners will be announced during the awards ceremony on February 26, 2012.

The Academy Awards is hosted by American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) and is produced by Brian Grazer and Don Mischer. The show is being directed by Don Mischer. One of the most anticipated film events of the year, the Academy Awards is eagerly looked forward to by scores of movie enthusiasts all over the world!
