Banner Film Society to screen Adoor’s Favorites on April 29

schedule adoor 254x300 Banner Film Society to screen Adoors Favorites on April 29The Banner Film Society, based in Thiruvananthapuram would screen four classic films that have been selected by renowned film maker Adoor Gopalakrishnan on the 29th of April, 2012. The films would be screened at Lenin Balavadi, behind Tagor Theatre, near Vazhuthacaud, in the capital city.

The screening schedule is as follows:  At 9.30 am  ‘Kanał’  directed by Andrzej Wajda, at 11.30am  ‘The Woman in the Dunes’ directed by Hiroshi Teshigahara,  2.30 pm   ‘The Man Without a Past’  directed by Aki Kaurismäki and at 4.30pm ‘ Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors’  directed by Sergei Parajanov.
